MAPA Member Benefits
| 2 Year Fellow Membership – A Fellow member is an individual who is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and meets the MAPA Constitution’s definition of a PA under Article VIII: is currently or was at one time recognized as a PA by the Minnesota Medical Examining Board; or, any Minnesota PA who is NCCPA certified or board eligible and who is a graduate of an AMA approved PA program). Fellow members who belong to more than one state academy may vote on AAPA issues in only one chapter. A fellow member has full voting privileges, shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor, and may hold office. | $300.00 |

| Sustaining Membership (one year) – A Sustaining Member shall include any Minnesota PA as identified in the Fellow Member category, but who is not a fellow member of the AAPA. A member is entitled to all the privileges of MAPA, except those that conflict with AAPA policy. | $175.00 |
| Retired Membership (one year) – PA who has been a member in good standing of MAPA for a minimum of five years (not necessarily the last five years or five years in succession) and has retired from gainful employment as a PA. | $50.00 |
| Student Membership – Student members shall include any student enrolled in an approved PA program in Minnesota. A student member shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor but shall not have a vote. Student members shall have one voting representative per PA program on the Board. | $50.00 |
| Pre·PA Student Membership – Pre-PA Undergraduate members are college students who are exploring a career as a physician assistant but are not yet enrolled in an accredited PA program. This category provides access to MAPA news, events, and networking opportunities to help prepare for PA school. Pre-PA Undergraduate members do not vote, hold office, or serve as student representatives on the Board; those privileges apply only to Student Members who are currently enrolled in a PA program. | $50.00 |
| New Graduate (one year) – This discounted membership is available to new graduates and is only available for one (1) membership year and then must convert to a full membership. Members joining in this category must be approved by MAPA and may be asked to validate their graduation date and degree. | $50 |
| Affiliate Membership (one year) – Any person who is ineligible for any of the above categories and wishes to associate with MAPA and is approved by the Board of Director. | $125.00 |
